Our journey into the hot tub industry began after founding Energy Smart Canada, a company dedicated to renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions. As we researched products that aligned with our commitment to energy savings, one name stood above the rest: Arctic Spas. We discovered they were the most energy-efficient hot tubs on the market, designed and built right here in Alberta, for Alberta’s climate. It was the perfect fit for both our values and our customers.

The EY Entrepreneur of The Year® Awards was held in Calgary, AB last night and it is with great pride to announce owners Darcy Amendt, Dennis Kellner and Brent Macklin won awards in the category of Manufacturing and the Prairies Region.
In 2005 Arctic Spas was nominated in six categories for the eAwards, an employee-recognition program offered by Alberta Venture magazine. We were selected as finalists in four categories, an unprecedented level of recognition.
Only a handful of companies have demonstrated this level of sustained growth, and no competing Canadian spa company can match this record.
On May 19, 2005, Blue Falls Manufacturing Ltd was given the 2005 Convergence Award of Excellence. Presented by Convergence, the largest technology conference and exposition in Western Canada, the award recognizes the company’s ability to apply IT solutions to business challenges in order to generate sustained value and consistent performance.
